Posters 1-3 done as part of classes at Saint Louis Community College, Florissant Valley. Posters 4 and 5 done as freelance work. All done in Adobe Illustrator.
Poster #1: Jazz festival poster done in the style of art nouveau, specifically the Beggarstaff brothers. The focus on the saxophone was used to create a simple image of jazz, since the saxophone is the most recognizable instrument of the genre.
Poster #2: Hot topic awareness poster, done to highlight the signs of abuse in relationships. The style of the poster is a play on the idea of signs, highlighting signs of physical abuse on figures that look like those off of bathroom signs.
Poster #3: Infographic poster done for COVID awareness. This was done at the height of COVID in St. Louis, re-highlighting both the common prevention methods and at the time current local guidelines.
Poster #4: The Stare - an original sci-fi horror found footage short done for the St. Louis 48 Hour Film Festival. Poster commissioned by its directors Justin Potter and Dennis Manning.
Poster #5: Squeak - an independent horror short, poster commissioned by its director Steven Schroder. In the style of 50s B-movies and 70s grindhouse.
